During the academic year 2012-13 it was reported to Governors that we targeted the funding to:

        Reduce class size in KS2

2 x NQTs

        Provide enrichment opportunities

Theatre productions

Educational Visits

Sustain teacher-led Maths and Reading interventions

1 x 1.0 FTE (Maths & English teacher-led interventions)

        Increase provision for SEN&D

1 x 1.0 teacher to lead in the Learning Lodge

1 x 1.0 Speech & Language L&TA

*The reduction of class sizes required the construction of an additional class learning base which has been included in the calculations

Impact of funding:

Internal school data identifies that pupils accessing the additional provision funded via the PP in two thirds of cases are making at least 4 points or more progress with the support and challenge from the Learning Lodge.  Pupils accessing Meet & Greet have made significant progress in KS2 making more than 4 points progress in reading.  Across the academy cohorts have made at least expected progress but Y1, Y2 and Y6 especially have exceeded expected points progress to make in excess of 4 points progress in Reading, Writing, Maths.
