Caldi Tea Party for the Queen!

We have been celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s birthday at school today. We have put on our posh party clothes and we have made fancy crowns too. Then we joined the rest of the school to play games outside in the glorious sunshine. We played Royal Corners and the Hoop Game. In Key Stage 1 our favourite game was Royal Corners. Everyone enjoyed the games because we had so much fun. Afterwards we headed to the dinner hall to collect our tea party food. We ate out in the gorgeous, warm sunshine. Mrs Steele said, “I had a lovely time in the sunshine with everyone in their party clothes.”

We all had an exciting day and we each have a special coin to take home. Mrs Steele added, “This is a special coin to keep forever.”
