Dinosaurs In Nursery!

It has been a very exciting and busy week in Nursery this week. After closely observing the dinosaur egg that we found, the egg finally hatched! We went on an adventure to find the missing dinosaur and we watched video footage from our school cameras of the dinosaur running around in our outdoor garden.

ATTENTION! Dinosaur escaped in EYFS. Please contact Caldicotes Primary Academy Nursery if found. Watch with care…………

We created posters to help track down the missing dinosaur.

Throughout the week we have been continuing to give meaning to marks that we make, we have been learning to count and identify numbers and we have been learning to listen to stories and look at books independently.

We love reading!

We enjoy making marks!

We are magical mathematicians!

Fun in the sun! Bringing learning outdoors!

We had a special visitor in Nursery this week. The nurse come to talk to us about the importance of washing our hands.

We learnt a special rhyme to help us when washing our hands. It goes like this………

Wash, wash, wash your hands,
Wash them everyday!
Wash, wash, wash, wash,
Wash the germs away!
(Sang to the tune of Row, row, row your boat.)

It has been a very busy week in Nursery and we have been making our best better to be the best that we can be!

Keep checking Nursery’s webpage and the academy’s Twitter page to find out what we have been getting up to! Next week our letter of the week is ‘t’ and our number of the week is 13.
