Maths, English, Science and the Police!

This week in Maths we have been solving problems. We have had to think of different strategies to find the answer. We have also been practising counting in 5’s and 10’s and we can demonstrate some of this at home.

In English we have been listening to another traditional tale, Hansel and Gretel. We have been thinking about different adjectives to describe the witch. She was an evil villain with a green face and a long crooked nose.

We have decided to throw away the apple because it had decayed and our predictions were correct. We are still watching the potato to see what will happen.

We had a visit from a policeman this week, he talked to us about stranger danger. He told us that it was important to know our full name and address, a lot of us don’t know this yet.

The seeds that we planted last week have begun to grow, we are interested in the changes that are happening.

There is something interesting going on in the playground. We are watching the changes to see what it will be.
