This week we have noticed a change in the weather, it is turning colder Brrrrrr.

Please start to bring your child’s coat every day.

This week in Maths we have continued to focus on finding one more than a given number, using Numicon, beads and fruit when counting. We now know what the addition and equals signs look like. + =

We learnt a new maths song 1 2 3 4 5 Bees going buzzing round the hive and we are practising how to count in 2’s.

This week we had an Autumn investigation walk around our school woodland area, we then created an Autumn collage from our collections.

In the outdoor area we have been practicing writing our names and ages with chalk.

In our English lessons we have been reading the story of Elmer and the wind. We did not think that Elmer would blow away!

We have also been practising our reading of words and captions. We all work hard because we want to be good readers and good writers.
