This week in Maths we have been ordering lengths of snakes, rockets and pencils, finding out which is the longest and shortest. We used play dough to make snakes then we measured those using cubes.

We also measured our bean bag throws to see which went the furthest and counted how many rulers long our throws were.

In English this week we have learned all about the firework code and we wrote our own safety posters to help us to keep safe. We used our poster and artwork to create a lovely new display in the corridor. You might be able to see it through the window.

The Gunpowder Plot is the story of when Guy Fawkes and his men tried to kill King James by blowing up the Houses of Parliament! We have been acting out the story in class this week to help us to understand it.
