Autumn Term 1, Week 7 in Nursery!

posted 24 Oct 2017, 13:37 by Vicki Bowes

This week we have continued our learning based around the theme of Harvest and autumn.

The title of the story we have been reading in Nursery is ‘Squirrel’s Autumn Search.’

Linked to our story and theme of learning, we decided to go on our very own autumn search to look for changes and signs of autumn in our environment. We recorded our discoveries using an Ipad.

On Wednesday we enjoyed Sign and Sign with Dawn.

In Maths this week, we have been practising our counting skills and counting natural autumn objects.

We have also continued to develop our learning outdoors.

As you can see, it certainly has been a very busy week in nursery and we have been making our best better to be the best that we can be!

As we approach the end of the half term, we have been reflecting on our learning and thinking about how we can make our best even better. We look forward to the magic of next half term and all of the wonders that it beholds. We have our Spooky Tea Party to look forward to, we have Soup and Sparkles and of course, the magic of Christmas. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and celebrating our learning with us. We hope you all have a safe and restful holiday and we look forward to seeing you in the next half term, ready to embrace learning and be the best that we can be!

Keep checking nursery’s webpage and the school’s Twitter page to find out what we have been getting up to! When we get back we will be focusing on the grapheme d and our number of the week will be 8.
