Summer Term 1 - Week 1 in Nursery!

posted 12 May 2017, 06:10 by Vicki Bowes

We have had a really exciting week in nursery learning and having fun.

Our focus story this week has been ‘There’s a house inside my mummy.’ This has helped to think about the changes that happen to us as we grow. Some of us have also shared pictures of ourselves when we were young.

This week we have started ‘Yogabugs’ for our PE sessions. Becky comes in to teach us this. She helps us to make our yoga movements through stories.

On Tuesday Ash came to see us. He is a football freestyler. He showed us a lot of tricks and then we tried to do them ourselves!

We love working in the areas and we have challenges in nursery that help us to develop our learning.

This week was the launch of our ‘early words together’ club. Some children came to school to work on their communication and language skills with their parents. We had lots of fun.

On Friday we got some new visitors in school. We have got 5 very tiny but very hungry caterpillars. We can’t wait to see what is going to happen with them.

Remember to keep up to date with what is happening in nursery by checking our twitter page. You can also check out what’s happening on our website.
