Week 25 in Nursery!

posted 1 Apr 2016, 06:01 by Vicki Bowes

It has been a short but very busy week this week in nursery and we have been embracing all things Easter! We enjoyed listening to and learning about the Easter story.

We also had an egg-cellent time completing Easter activities across the week!

On Wednesday it was our EYFS open day and we invited our parents to celebrate our learning with us. We had an Easter egg tombola, face paint, play dough and Easter bunny food, cake and book stall and an Easter hamper bonus ball. All money raised went to making our EYFS’ ‘best even better!’

We raised a staggering £380 and we would like to say a massive thank you to parents for your support.

It was our final session of dance this week with Claire our dance coach. We certainly have developed our dance skills across the half term and made our best even better!

Watch out for us on Britain’s got talent!

On Thursday we finished our working week by taking part in our Easter service. We sang our favourite Easter song ‘Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken.’ We certainly were the stars of the show!

We have had an egg-citing week this week in nursery and we have been making our best better to be the best that we can be! Keep checking nursery’s webpage and the school’s Twitter page to find out what we have been getting up to!

As we approach the end of the final spring half term, the Nursery team would like to say a huge thank you for your continued effort and support. Next term we look forward to learning about growth and life cycles and we eagerly anticipate the arrival of some chicken eggs! We hope that you have a fabulous Easter break and we will see you next term, ready to make our best even better!
