Week 28 in Nursery

posted 9 May 2016, 06:32 by Vicki Bowes
This week in Nursery we have been consolidating our learning in the following aspects of development; Speaking, understanding the world and shape, space and measure.

Our chicks have grown a lot since they have hatched. This week we have all had the opportunity to touch and hold the chicks. It was very important for us to clean our hands afterwards so that we didn’t catch any germs.

This has been very chick-tastic!!!

Linked to the arrival of the chicken eggs, our story book focus has been ‘Egg to Chicken.’ We have enjoyed listening to this story and talking about the life cycle of the chicken.

This week we went into the computer suite and our challenge was to draw a picture of our chicks. We all tried to be the best we can be but it is tricky to use the mouse.

We have shown an interest in using inset jigsaw for our learning this week. These will be incorporated in our classroom next week helping us to take a lead in our own learning.

It has been a very busy week in nursery and we have been making our best better to be the best that we can be!

Keep checking our website page and twitter to see what we have been up to!
