Week 29 in Nursery!

posted 13 May 2016, 03:30 by Vicki Bowes

This week in Nursery we have been consolidating our learning in the following aspects of development; Speaking, understanding the world and shape, space and measure.

Miss Pounder has been enjoying a relaxing week at home, we haven’t had any news about her baby yet but it won’t be long now!!!!

Our story focus this week has been ‘The Very hungry Caterpillar.’ We have enjoyed reading this and learning about the life cycle of a butterfly.

This week we did PE in the hall. We warmed up our bodies and then we had a go on the large apparatus. It was lots of fun.
In maths this week we have been looking at 2D shapes. We went out into the nursery playground to search for shapes outside in the environment. You can help our learning by doing this with us at home.
It has been a very busy week in nursery and we have been making our best better to be the best that we can be!

We have taken our learning outside this week because the weather has been beautiful. Please put sun cream on your child on a sunny day. Thank you.

Keep checking nursery’s webpage and the school’s Twitter page to find out what we have been getting up to!
