Week 14 in Reception

posted 18 Dec 2015, 05:59 by Vicki Bowes
This week we have continued to think about the first Christmas story. We have been using role play masks to re-enact the story with our friends. We really enjoyed our performance in the church and we were so pleased that so many of you could come to visit.

We have completed a variety Christmas craft projects this week and we hope that you like all of the things we have made. These crafts have helped us to develop our fine motor skills and it was nice to sit and develop our speaking and listening skills with our friends and teachers.

On Wednesday we had our Christmas party. We were very excited. We played lots of games and we had a delicious plate of party food. Father Christmas also came to our party and he gave us a present. We promised that we would be the best we could be and help our families over Christmas.

The team would like to take the opportunity to thank you for all your support over your child’s first term in reception. We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you on the 4th January 2016!
