"My favourite lesson in Class 2 this week has been our handwriting lessons because it helps me get better at forming my letter correctly," said Sienna.

"I liked doing the Golden Mile this week, one day I even got 9 coins," said Charlie.

"I have enjoyed English because we are nearly finished writing our story of ‘How to catch a star’," said Libby.

"My favourite lesson this week was phonics because it helps me to spell word correctly. This is because when I am older I would like to teach my children how to spell," said Paris.

This week in English lessons we have finished writing our story, we have been writing making our best better by editing our work. Teagan and Leroy were really pleased with their writing because they managed to spell words using their phonics.

Everyday we have story time at the end of the day and Mrs Green reads us different stories, we have learnt about a new author this week. The author we are learning about is called Martin Waddell and we have collected a range of his books to read and write reviews on.

In maths this week, we have been partitioning numbers and really practising getting better at our CLIC tests. We have learnt to partition 2 digit numbers and some of us have even worked on partitioning 4 digit numbers.

This week we have been completing our dream catchers, we have used a range of primary colours and also printed our designs using different types of objects to print with.
