Week 5 in Class 2

This week in our English lessons, in Class 2 we have been writing the rest of our story. We have been reading our stories to each other to help us to make our best even better.

As it's Friday we had our weekly spelling test and some of us had improved since last week. We are really grateful for the support you are offering to ensure that your child practises their spellings each week.

We have had great fun in our Max's Marvellous Maths sessions this week and we are starting to improve with our one to one counting and number formation.

The whole class have started a new unit this week about addition and subtraction. We are investigating this afternoon and will tweet some pictures.

Across the curriculum we had lots of fun this week learning about the different trees in our school grounds. We worked in groups and collected many types of leaves, so that we can identify the trees that are growing in our playgrounds.

Quotes of the Week:

"Every week I get excited because I get to go to football," said Tyler.
"I always love my maths lessons," said Harvey.
"One of my favourite lessons is chess because it is fun and exciting," said Libby.
"I like going to Max's Marvellous Maths sessions with Mrs Green," said Charlie.
