We have been learning the properties of 2D shapes in maths and we are also going to be looking at 3D shapes. In maths this week we have also made Busy Bear's Shape Street during a PLO.

We have read the book 'The Little Hen and The Great War by Jennifer Beck and Robyn Belton'. We wrote book reviews about the book to describe to people what it was about.

"I liked the book because the soldiers made a home for Bertha the little hen," said Libby.
"My favourite part was when the soldier found the hen," said Kenzie.

Whilst working with Mrs Lyth this week we learnt about some of the different things that happened during World War 1.
"We learnt all about the old toys that children used to play with," said Sienna.

In PE this week, we have learnt some different throwing skills to help us improve our bench-ball skills.

Finally, congratulations to Alyssa who has received a Principal's Award from Mrs Steele in recognition of her fantastic effort at this week's homework task. Thank you to all families who have supported their children to complete their homework this week!
