Week 14 in Class 2

posted 12 Dec 2014, 05:40 by Tom Kentfield-Wells   [ updated 12 Dec 2014, 05:42 ]
Well we've had yet another fun packed week in Class 2! This week we have performed our Christmas play 'The Magical Christmas Jigsaw' and made our family and teachers really proud. Some of us even managed to perform three times and truly made our best even better. Thank you to parents who came to support us and the other children in our Christmas performance.

We have also experienced 'Forest Schools' this week, this is where our learning takes place outside. We built habitats for different animals that need to hibernate in the winter and listened to the story 'Stick Man' By Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Thank you for providing outdoor clothing for your children such as wellies, hats, gloves and thick coats. If you would like, you could bring spare clothing in and we can leave it on your child's peg ready for further 'Forest Schools' sessions.

In maths this week we have been learning all about statistics and have started to collect data about our favourite Christmas activities. Next week we will be making a pictograms linked to our collection of data.

Next week we will be going to watch the performance of ' Arthur's Dream Boat'. We are looking forward to watching the play and writing about what we enjoyed watching too.

Mrs Green and I would like to pass on a huge thank you for the support you have given us since the start of the academic year. We hope that we can continue to support your child to develop even further next year and reach their full potential.
