Week 6 in Class 2

In English this week we have written another story about a farm animal who really wants to eat an apple. We decided that instead of the character eating it, they would take it to The Harvest Festival.

This week we have had great fun in maths, today it was Busy Bear's Birthday. He found he had a problem and needed the children in Class 2 to solve it. We used the addition skills we have learnt this week to help us solve the problem! Happy birthday Busy Bear.

We have had another great week in P.E and learnt about scoring points in bench ball. We used the different passes that we have learnt to play against the opposite team. After our P.E session we discussed what we could do to make our best even better and we said we could improve on our listening skills, when working as part of team. We hope we can do this next week!

This week we have loved polishing our work with our marking partner, we looked at our green and blue comments in our book and tried to improve our work.

Here are some quotes from the children in Class 2 this week:

"We have tried to solve a problem for Busy Bear's Birthday," said Kenzie.

"This week we have been learning all about the over head pass in bench ball," said Sienna.

"In English this week I have enjoyed writing our phonics and handwriting work. We have learnt the ay and the ea sounds," said Libby.
