We have really enjoyed ourselves this term in Class 2, we have learnt lots about reading, writing and maths and made great progress too!

In English this week we have been writing all about our Harvest Festival. We wrote about how we prepared for the Harvest Festival and about what Harvest means.

During our maths lessons this week we have learnt all about fractions. We used different resources such as counters, Numicon and shapes.

We really enjoyed playing a game of 'Elves, Giants and Wizards'. We got into two groups, and tried to get the other team out by working as a team.

In RE we found out that people of the Jewish religion use branches of peace to wish people happiness. We thought about how we could make people happy and made some branches of peace all of our own.

Quotes from some children in Class 2:
"I like learning about fractions in maths," said Tyler.

"I have enjoyed learning about 1/2's!" said Kenzie.

"When we were working with the iPads I liked learning using the different maths games," said Teagan.

"I enjoyed R.E this week, learning all about Sukkot," said Paris.
