Week 4 in Class 4

It's been a busy week in Class 4 this week.

In Maths, we have been estimating - we had great fun finding things around the classroom to estimate! We have also been rounding two-digit numbers to the nearest 10. Luckily Roger Rabbit was on hand to support us and even taught us a rhyme to help us identify if we should round a number up or down:

In English, we wrote the Rescue Resolution and Excellent Ending to the story 'How to Catch a Star' and have now started writing our own version. We have each chosen a nocturnal animal as our main character and have set our story in the woods instead of at the beach. In Friday's celebration assembly, Dilara was Class 4's 'Superstar of the Week' in recognition of her brilliant Super Story Opener:

This week we have also tasted some brioche and jam, in recognition of European Day of Languages, and practised the skill of printing in our art lesson.
