We have had a very busy two weeks in Class 6. Our project focus has been on science and we have been looking at skeletons, animals and their young, habitats and life cycles. Our academy foyer has been transformed into a science area and class six had the chance to go and explore all the different activities on offer.

In maths we have been looking at analogue and digital time. Here's a good website to try out with your child:

In English we have been debating whether zoos are good or bad. What does your child think about zoos? We are currently writing a balanced argument stating the pros and cons of keeping animals in a zoo.

In guided reading we have been focusing on improving our comprehension skills and reading for a purpose. Don't forget to return your child's book to school every day please!
