This week Class 6 have been taking part in lots of activities outside, linked to forest schools. We learnt how to play a game called Giants, Wizards and Elves which was lots of fun. Why don’t you ask your child if they can explain the rules to you?

Next, we played a game linked to the Greek myth Medusa.

We needed to create the letters of the alphabet using any natural materials we could find, which we then used to write acrostic poems. Here’s an example of a poem McKenzie wrote:

We got to go into the ‘forest’ and make a campfire and cooked a cowboy stew, which linked to our work on Around the World in 80 days.

In maths we have finished working on grid multiplication and looked at how we could use the grid method to solve problems.
