We have had a very busy week in Year 3 – as always. We have been going swimming every afternoon and are beginning to turn into little fish!!!

During the week, we had a visit from a football freestyler and have learnt some tricks we can do using a football.

In Maths, we have been looking at lots of different strategies we can use to help us solve multiplication problems including number lines, numicon and grid method. Please take the time to help your child learn their 3, 4 and 8 times tables at home.

In English, we are looking at instructional writing and have been writing instructions on how to make a Roman road. We needed to make sure our instructions were clear so spent some time working on our verbal instructions by keeping a picture secret and trying to get a friend to draw the picture without showing it to them. It was harder than it sounds!
