We have started the new half term with a new topic in year 4 all about mountains and rivers.

We have asked some extremely interesting wondering questions to kick off the topic. These included:

  • Do dolphins live in big rivers?
  • Who was the first person ever to climb a mountain?
  • How do you keep rivers clean?
  • Which way do most rivers flow?
  • Which country contains the most mountains and rivers?
  • How many people have climbed Mount Everest?
  • Which is longer the Tees or the Tyne?
  • We are really looking forward to working through our topic and discovering the answers.
  • We have started by research Fold Mountains and how they are formed.

In maths we have been recapping arithmetic and we have been multiplying 3 numbers together.

We are training for some upcoming cross country working on our stamina and technique in PE.
