In Y1/2 last week, in Science we worked hard to sort and categorise living things, which the children recorded in their books. During Our RE session, about Hinduism we completed a circle time and talked about how we can be more caring and considerate towards others. As can be seen from Brooke's PPA work book the children have made some thoughtful promises.

The pupils in Lower Key Stage 2 have been investigating and creating circuits. They were challenged to create a circuit which lit a bulb, a circuit to sound a buzzer and one to make a motor turn.

On Monday 12th January all the students in Y3/4 visited Middlesbrough College to take part in a range of sporting activities. The tasks were aimed to improve the children's agility, speed, stamina and responses.

Materials and their properties is the Science focus during PPA for the Upper Key Stage 2 pupils. This week we looked at different states of matter. The children used their knowledge of solids to sort a range of different solid materials using their own criteria.
