Y1/2 PPA Science and RE
The pupils have been researching different animals and their habitats. They have found out why particular animals live in woodland areas, rain forests and by the sea. The children are beginning to give reasons as to why animals live in a certain environment.

In RE the pupils have been continuing to learn about Hinduism. This week we looked at the Hindu temple called a Mandir. The children talked about their experiences of visiting a place of worship.

Y5/6 PPA Science and Art
During PPA this week, in Science, Y5/6 children have been separating solids. They had to decide what equipment they would need, how they would separate the materials and if they were successful, why! Y5 pupils worked fantastically in groups to complete their experiments. Y6 pupils used appropriate scientific vocabulary to explain some of their experiments.

In art this week, Y5/6 pupils have been continuing to develop their drawing skills. They used a View finder to isolate a part of a picture and then used coloured pencils to recreate a particular part of the picture.
