This week in English we have been using the research we collected last week to write a non-chronological report about space. We have then practised our editing skills to make our reports even better before writing them into our final draft books. We are extremely proud of the work that is in our final draft books.

Also this week we had our weekly spelling test. These three pupils were more than happy with their score and it was certainly evident that they had been working hard on their spellings at home.

To combine a maths and ICT lesson this week we have been using SumDog. This is a website where “there is lots of fun and games where you have to work out sums so you learn at the same time” (said Dayla from Year 6).

In PE this week we used the skills from the Tag Rugby drills to play a full match. We enjoyed giving positive points to other teams that we watched and came up with some constructive criticism to help our peers improve their skills further.
