PE in the Curriculum

All pupils follow this curriculum to ensure all areas of PE are covered and that the programme is varied and interesting. The part in brackets on the curriculum map determines which area of the National Curriculum the PE fits into and is used by teachers to assess children as either; emerging, developing, secure or mastery within each stage.

Pupils have PE for 2 hours per week.

Years 3 and 5 children go swimming for 20 sessions per year. There is a catch up programme for any year 6 children who still need to achieve their 25m.
